Description This delightful, easy access ground floor, two bed sea front apartment has lovely views over Sandsend Bay. In the summer take in these views of the sea and beach which are literally on your doorstep, whilst in the cooler months snuggle up and take advantage of the cosy surroundings with full central heating and listen to the waves on the shore. The open plan, well equipped kitchen, lounge, diner have some traditional features with beamed ceiling. The property has a small shared patio with outside seating. This property has been recently refurbished with many new features making this a very attractive holiday let in one of the country's most unique picturesque and popular seaside villages. It is ideal for walkers with many national park routes close by. Tea shop is two minutes' walk away.      GROUND FLOOR: Entrance: Shared lobby. Four steps lead up to the hallway. Lounge/Kitchen/Diner: Down four steps. comfy sofa with separate chair. TV with Freeview, Now TV and DVD, Amazon Echo Alexa Music Platform, oak dining table and chairs, close sea views from both front windows. Fridge with an icebox, electric cooker with oven and grill, microwave, magimix nesspresso coffee machine (please bring your own supplies). kettle and Toaster.  Bedroom 1: Double bed, fitted wardrobe, dressing table, bedside shelves, TV.  Bedroom 2: Single bed, TV, door leading up to the back patio, wardrobe in the hallway. Tallboy unit in the Bedroom.  Bathroom: Shower, toilet and washbasin. Outhouse: Washing machine and separate dryer.  Pets: No pets allowed and no smoking allowed Parking: Parking provided for Sandsend car park (50m from flat ) also on-street parking on a first come first served basis. Heating: Full gas-fired central heating. Patio: Communal patio with planted area and garden furniture shared with Flat 2. Short breaks: Not accepted at peak times. Notes: Please bring your own towels. Unlimited WiFi is available free of charge as is use of Now TV and Amazon Alexa. A built in digital safe for storage of personal belongings. Travel cot, high chair and child's buggy available. Wind breakers, beach bag, children’s surf boards, blow up dinghy with pump, ice box, children's toys available. Due to the poor mobile signal in Sandsend the owners have provided the use of a landline phone in the event of emergencies. No smoking at this property. A welcome basket is set for your arrival. Pub: 0.2 mile. Shop: 0.1 mile.

Mr & Mrs Davies 15 Dec 2025 -  We had a great stay here. The apartment has sea views which was so lovely and everywhere was clean and tidy and amenities were great. We were able to check in early which was a bonus and there was a nice hamper of goodies on arrival which was a nice touch. It was a nice quiet space despite being so central to Sandsend. Very Festive in the flat.

Miss Willis - 5 Dec 2025 -  Had a very peaceful and relaxing stay at Michael's place, the village and surroundings are beautiful and we definitely would have liked to have spent longer exploring. The flat is very peaceful and comfortable and had everything we needed. Beds and furniture were comfy, WiFi was great (I was working so that really helped), kitchen was well equipped and the view of the sea from the window was lovely! Lovely Xmas Decs too !!.

Mr Marshall - 23 October 2025 -  Fantastic accommodation, great location next to the beach. Ideal for our little family and especially our little girl who has support needs. Lovely touches of having milk, bread, wine, biscuits waiting for us. Also the parking pass and kids beach toys. Sandsend is ideal for a quiet beach holiday. 

Mrs Zahid - 16 Oct 2025 -  We stayed here for two nights to celebrate my mum’s birthday, and it’s honestly been such a lovely little escape. The apartment is so cosy and peaceful — we instantly felt at home. Waking up to the sound of the sea and that beautiful beach view was just perfect. Everything was spotless and so thoughtfully prepared. You can tell how much care has gone into this place — every little detail made it feel special. Mrs Turnbull 1 Sep 2025 -  Lovely ground floor flat across the road from a sandy beach. Parking a short walk away (although also free parking on the road outside if available. Flat was tidy and cosy, with everything needed for a lovely stay for myself, husband and 6 year old daughter. Neighbours were very quiet. Recommend! 

Mrs Minett - 30 Aug 2025 -  On arrival was bread milk biscuits and wine it was a lovely surprise there was everything you could think of in the apartment from cleaning products to bathroom toiletries and even phone chargers! Although as we regularly go to self catering we take our own supplies but thankyou fir the wine 🍷 x Was a lovely comfortable place. 

Mr Simmonds 8 Aug 2025 -  Great location, could watch the waves breaking over the sea wall. Enough places to eat locally and breakfast at the Sandside was excellent, great start to the day. 

Mr Bielby 30 July  2025 - Perfect location for everything in Sandsend. On the beach in 2 minutes and 30 seconds to bus stop to Whitby. Everything you could need is in the apartment. Very clean and well appointed. Tried to extend my stay for an extra night but understandably it is well booked up.
